It is almost over
After 2 weeks of recovery at home after knee surgery, I go back to the doctor tomorrow and find out if he releases me to go back to work or if I get another week or two of vacat....ahem.... recovery. Being out this time has sorta gave me a taste of what retirement will sorta be like.. well almost...I couldn't do much driving, so I didn't pick up the girls everyday from school like I will when I retire. Also my retirement should be less painful than the last few weeks lol.

Just to give an update....the doc wrote me out of work another 3.5 weeks! He wants me to go to physical therapy 3 times a week and then see him Oct 20 to get released. He said my knees were to stiff for me to just return to work where I could do more harm than good. I was only expecting a week, two weeks maxed. They really hate me at work now. I would have waited until I started my terminal leave to have had this surgery if I knew I would have been out this long.
